Haust Network

The Haust Network is an EVM-compatible Layer 2 blockchain powered by zk-rollups and integrated AggLayer, Data Availability, Account Abstraction from the outset. The network offers a seamless DeFi experience with a native yield generation through the Haust Wallet and the innovative Haustoria mechanism.

The Core of the Haust Network is based on Polygon zkEVM, the most sustainable solution up to date.

A zkEVM is a special type of Ethereum-compatible virtual machine that leverages zero-knowledge proofs (zk-proofs). zk-proofs are cryptographic techniques that allow one party to prove to another that a statement is true, without revealing any specific details. In the context of Ethereum, zkEVM ensures that computations or transactions can be proven valid with minimal information, enhancing scalability and security.

Polygon zkEVM is to Ethereum a Layer 2 network and a scalability solution utilizing zero-knowledge technology to provide validation and fast finality of off-chain transactions. It is beneficial for developers and also includes seamless deployment of smart contracts and developer tools.

Polygon zkEVM combines data availability and execution verification on L1, essentially the Ethereum network, in order to ensure security and reliability of each L2 state transition.

The AggLayer is a decentralized protocol with two components: a common bridge and the zk-powered mechanism that provides a cryptographic guarantee of safety for seamless, cross-chain interoperability. AggLayer addresses the problems of fragmented liquidity and state across rollups and the L1.

The NEAR Data Availability Layer designed to enhance scalability and efficiency. It separates the storage and availability of transaction data from the execution layer, allowing validators to focus on consensus and execution without being burdened by data storage. The NEAR Data Availability Layer ensures data reliability by distributing it across multiple nodes through sharding. This improves redundancy and resilience against data loss or corruption. The main features include improved throughput and reduced latency due to the offloading of data availability tasks and security. Reliability through cryptographic proofs and erasure coding techniques that ensure data can be reconstructed should the nodes go offline.

Nuffle fast finality layer enhances the transaction finality process by significantly reducing the time it takes to confirm transactions as irreversible. Operating as a layer on top of existing blockchain infrastructure, it leverages advanced consensus algorithms to achieve rapid and deterministic finality.

Account Abstraction (AA) is a blockchain technology that allows users to use smart contracts as their accounts. AA plays a critical role in the Haust Network to transform user experience within the Haust Wallet. Some of these offered features include: web2-style sign-in, keyless wallet management, social wallet recovery and gas fee management.
